BetterDating – Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using BetterDating (the "Service"), operated by TLP Tech Ventures LLC ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

• Information required – To register you must provide a valid email address and create a password. Additional profile information (e.g., age, gender, interests) is optional but may be necessary for matchmaking.
• Account security – You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@betterdating.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Termination – We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law, without prior notice.

Permitted use – You may use BetterDating solely for personal, non‑commercial matchmaking.

Prohibited conduct – You shall not:

• Upload malicious software, viruses, or any content that infringes third‑party rights.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Service.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or interfere with the Service's operation.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

• Ownership – You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, messages, profile text).
• Responsibility – You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your content.

• Pricing – Premium features, if offered, are billed according to the plan you select (monthly, annual, etc.). Prices are displayed in the app before purchase.
• Refunds – All sales are final unless required by law. You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund past charges.
• Taxes – You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

• BetterDating assets – All trademarks, logos, designs, software, and other proprietary elements of BetterDating are owned by BetterDating or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without explicit permission.
• Feedback – Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide become the property of BetterDating, and you waive any claim to compensation.

• No warranties – The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterDating, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid (if any) for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BetterDating and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law.

• Governing law – These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
• Dispute resolution – Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Plano, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post a notice within the app and, if required, send an email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

• By you – You may close your account at any time via the user settings page.
• By BetterDating – We may terminate or suspend your access for any breach of these Terms, for inactivity exceeding 12 months, or for any reason with reasonable notice.

• Severability – If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• Entire agreement – These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BetterDating concerning the Service.
