BetterDating – Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
TLP Tech Ventures LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates BetterDating as a subscription-based service. This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your subscription and what happens when you do.
2. How to Cancel
You can cancel your BetterDating subscription at any time through multiple methods:
Method 1: Account Settings (Recommended)
- Log into your BetterDating account
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
Method 2: Stripe Customer Portal
- Go to Settings → Subscription in your account
- Click "Manage Billing" to access Stripe's customer portal
- Cancel your subscription through the Stripe interface
Method 3: Contact Support
- Email us at support@betterdating.app
- Use our support form
- Include your account email and request cancellation
3. Free Trial Cancellation
During your 7-day free trial:
- Cancel anytime during the trial period without charge
- No billing if cancelled before trial expires
- Immediate effect - access ends when you cancel during trial
- Auto-conversion - if not cancelled, trial converts to paid subscription
4. Paid Subscription Cancellation
When you cancel a paid subscription:
- Immediate effect - no future charges will occur
- Service continues - you keep access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds - current period charges are not refunded
- Data retention - your account and data remain accessible during the paid period
5. What Happens After Cancellation
After your subscription ends:
- Account Status - your account becomes inactive but is not deleted
- Data Access - you lose access to your dating data and AI features
- Data Retention - your data is preserved for 30 days in case you want to reactivate
- Reactivation - you can resubscribe anytime to regain full access
6. Reactivation
To reactivate your subscription:
- Log in to your existing account
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click "Subscribe" to restart your subscription
- Data restoration - all your previous data will be immediately accessible
Note: Reactivation after 30 days may result in data loss as we may have deleted inactive account data.
7. Account Deletion
If you want to permanently delete your account and all data:
- Cancel subscription first (if active)
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion - this action is irreversible
Warning: Account deletion permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.

9. Changes to This Policy
